The removable prosthesis on implants can be removed by the patient and put back by the latter using fasteners which are fixed on the implants placed in the mouth. The dental implants are fixed in the jaw, the prosthesis is removable, but it does not move once it is attached to the implants in the mouth. We find the same retention and stability as with a fixed prosthesis on implants . The advantage of such a situation is that maintenance and dental hygiene is easier for the patient, since he can remove the prosthesis for cleaning.
